Yeah, MJV, I’ll try to check in now and again but if I don’t make some really big things happen soon, I’m not gonna have a spare moment to even rave about the W boys, Warren Wells and Wesley Walker. I’m not going anywhere physically but business-wise it’s a real good time to start thinking not just nationally but internationally, and it’s gonna be a lotta work!

Joe was just starting to flash some speed and cuts when he got hurt. Looks like Jets may have that disruptive DT they need in Ellis, hope gets back in the game soon, that position is a huge key to stopping the run. My theory is the loss of both Pouha and Ellis was more devastating this season than losing Revis. Not many teams have that ONE big time wide-out whom their whole passing game revolves around, like Megatron in Detroit for example. Teams know Revis will lockdown their best WO – in a sense that makes one less read the QB needs to make.

Well kudos for any donation but if a BILLIONAIRE was going to make a donation I feel a larger amount would have been proper. Not too much to say today everything is getting repetitive. Finished watching Tebows interview on “Jets”. If his character is as advertised he must be embarrassed for the attension given to a player who sees the same number of plays as the punter. The winnable games in the second half present a “catch 22″. Many are winnable but not enough to get to the playoffs which unless something changes would be laughable anyway. But a 7-9 or 8-8 will again gtive us middle of the road draft pics. On the bright side if Tanny is still here we could the #1 and we would miss.

Ira’s prediction that they are “due” for a bad game aside (ouiji board?) this one looks bad on paper. Of course the games we were supposed to be destroyed in (Houston, NE) have been our best.
I am firmly in the group that says a high draft pick is better than backing into a one game trip to the playoffs.

We are supposed to be fans, not hypnotized zombies. The article Ira referenced by the NYPost’s Costello was laughable…predicting wins over the Rams, Pats, cards, Bolts and Bills is silliness (I’ll give ya the Jags). This team is a lock to beat no one. And if we were to squeak in somehow what would we do against the Texans, Steelers, Pats, or even the Fins for that matter? We need to be real and continue to call for real change (QB, GM, OC etc).
The goal is the Lombardi Trophy, lets not be distracted.

Especially, as a receiver out of the backfield. He is so dangerous in the open field. Also, why are the Jets one of the few teams that hardly ever use screen passes? Third and long we see a handoff or a 6 yard pass when you need 10. Very frustrating.

You may be able to get in at 8 & 8 but we can not take that chance. If the Jets were to lose we would be 3 & 6 so we would have to go 6 & 1 the rest of the way. At this point I have no faith in that happening if the Jets can pull this game out. We will have some glimer of hope for the rest of the year.
